Architects of this tragedy like Anthony Blinken should absolutely not be given the opportunity to whitewash their involvement.

Paying $10/yr for a domain is well worth the cost just to be free of attaching your entire digital life to a gmail etc account that can be easily taken from you with no recourse. But beyond that self hosting is a hobby. It’s not nearly

Well population decline is a very real threat and with the conservative scapegoating of immigration (the only thing keeping the US growing) they need to get labor somewhere. Plus it fits right in with their anti-woman and anti-lgbt sentimen

I would consider the capture of journalist outfits by billionaire capitalists who kowtow to authoritarians to be an erosion of our democracy. They call it the fourth estate for a reason.

Well in my case the value is not there at their price which includes YouTube music as a separate service that must be maintained and I assume separate licensing as well. I’m not interested in paying for access to that side of the service. I

I don’t know about the UK but, In America I never hear Czechia, just Czech Republic. To my ears it sounds no more formal than “United States”. I understand that’s not the case in the EU though.

The public sector is about service. It’s not emotional attachment that keeps these employees there to the end, it’s a sense of responsibility. There’s no higher calling keeping you at your B2B SaaS company.
