In St. Louis, almost all of the engineers working for me in the past 5 years have had total comp between 100 and 170. New grads were in 60-80 range, but I think one or two job changes should have you at 100 in your first 3-5 years.

Youtube videos are nice since you can change the playback speed. Tutorials on other platforms might not have that. Also, for me, I could control Youtube with the play/pause button on my keyboard even when it's not the active wind

That was amazing "AI" for the 1990s. It would play never-ending bebop solos that were pretty legit. The author must have been a well-versed musician and programmed in the standard licks from the jazz vocabulary.
