I agree, along with a corresponding point, production values. Now, everyone who makes a video has to have theme music, an intro, and use specific cues. Podcasts all tend to sound the same too. Do these aspects really add anything or are the

AFAIK (and in evidence in this case) you can't use the normal "find in page" (control-f) when using canvas. Consistency in functions like find is one of the greatest things about the browser, this approach removes it. Probabl

Super interesting to see the 1973 issue featured a database of concentrations of power. From what I can tell, successive projects like Sunlight Foundation came on with such vigour, but these projects have such little mainstream impact, inst

It's sort of an after-install thing that takes a minute, but I have some keyboard shortcuts that allow me to do things like jump into a sketching program with the current clipboard contents. And Krita itself (and a few other good apps)

Maybe I'm missing something, but font rendering seems fine on Ubuntu without any after install steps. I've been using Ubuntu exclusively for well over a decade for everyday work, only occasionally going into a Windows VM, and it&#

redux-start-kit looks great. It's been over a year since I've bootstrapped a redux project, but I'd definitely use it next time. One area that I always felt "there has to be a better way" was defining action names.

I used Redux in a major project, and really appreciated using a fairly standardized framework that translates between projects with support including Redux DevTools. However, all the boilerplate was a big drawback. There are scattered solut

People shouldn't have to spend any time on this, at all. Very few people want ads for games or anything else than their operating system focus in their start menu. There should be at most a subtle opt-in option.
