Yes, we do :) Well, maybe not 64 cores. In embedded/automotive, majority of the tooling does not have a linux version. Compiling is a bitch. Still, you're probably right about the 99% comment.

that’s because for those cases the power draw is hard to predict. in case of your phone, the BMS might be lying and also the state of health of the cell might not be accounted for, but it’s more likely that some apps are juat power hungry.

Kind of. After connecting to the gdb server, CLion's GDB client usually sends some commands (IIRC start) that will not return a proper response because the server does not support it. Our solution was writing a wrapper to the GDB'
