I find this absurd in this era of cheap storage. Blatantly anti-consumer.

And I want the PRICES to be in that menu. Drives me nuts when there are generic menus with no clue of prices.

You can click on the YouTube logo in the video to go to the YouTube page. (I had to, because there no music played on the original site.)

COBRA's not the only advantage of employment. Unemployment, too. Contractors generally aren't eligible. Laid off employees are.

I agree with you. Happily, it does not have to be this way. In fact, the nation's biggest law firm devoted just to business litigation, Quinn Emanuel, is known for its casual dress: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quinn_Emanuel_Urquhart_%26_S

The SR-71 Blackbird went from LA to DC in around an hour. Imagine if (when) a passenger jet could go that fast -- it would transform our country. Pop over to the East Coast for the day, head home in time for dinner.

I posted a negative review of a dentist on Yelp -- I stand by my feelings of having a VERY bad experience -- and the guy emailed me putting me "on notice" and demanding I remove it immediately, or else I'd be "dealing with [his] attorney."

Google News needs to inspect more carefully whom they allow into the stream. Last month I came across a highly offensive site in the mix with other stuff.

One reason is that people (like me) don't want to further legitimize something they want society to discourage. I am strongly against drug use, and believe it sends the wrong message to impressionable kids to make it (more) legal.

I resent seeing stuff like this on Hacker News. Sorry for the angry rant, but I am extraordinarily opposed to this Proposition, with the strongest fiber of my very being, and to see this be the top story on hacker news, which I come to for

I used to love Reddit, but lately I've gotten some abusive and hurtful replies to stuff I posted there. Definitely seen the ugly/shameful side of the internet.

There was an article in the Washington Post (I think) about this very topic. It really is a harm to morale.

I hate the, uh, hate on the internet sometimes. I posted a self post on Reddit about my startup, and the first comment was "Go F*ck yourself". The second comment, QED. I ended up deleting the post. Not cool. :(
