The name is pretty similar to CodeCombat ( http://www.codecombat.com ) and I'm not clear on how this site is better than Codeacademy ( http://www.codecademy.com/ ). There are already a bunch of programming koan

The site template is a very bland and looks just like out-of-the-box bootstrap. Also you have a typo above the signup box: > Sign up for a free trail should say "trial" instead of "trail"

Hovering is showing 'www.google.com' for me in Chrome 22.0.1229.94 so I'm guessing the comment is incorrect (or only correct for some unknown version of Chrome). I don't have a mac so I can't test Safari.

I would add the book 'Elements of Computing Systems' [1] by Nisan and Schocken (in addition to CS:APP) as a replacement for COD. COD is more of a reference book rather than a teaching one. [1] http://www1.idc.ac.il/tecs/

From the last two lines of test it's returning 0, but the function that calls it (ThreadProc_dbg) declares a local variable result and sets it to 1, then calls test but doesn't store the return value into result so the result != 1 check is
