In my garage are a Tesla and a Subaru. They're both the first new cars I've ever owned and both are far more technologically advanced than anything I'd previously driven. So I'm a great guinea pig for testing modern car

Absolutely. AsciiDoc (2002) is actually 2 years older than Markdown (2004), but is surprisingly similar to write. It was created as an equivalent to DocBook XML for the creation of book-length technical documents. It has a rich history and

Bingo and I distinctly remember when IE's CSS support was significantly better than Netscape's at a crucial point in time when it really mattered to nascent Web design and development.

Highly recommend starting with "The Pragmatic Programmer". I found "Clean Code" to be much more narrow in its applicability (and I did not enjoy Martin's writing, but that's highly subjective). The Pragmatic Pr

I realize I'm replying six days later - but I can't help mentioning that the "dd situation" is even crazier than it first appears: you can just use `cp foo.iso /dev/sdb` or `cat > /dev/sdb`. https

Yes, sorry, I meant to make that more clear: this is NOT an nginx issue. It just HAPPENS that I always see nginx on the 403 page. It appears somebody doesn't like lynx's User-Agent string and it makes me sad.

Yes, 403 Forbidden in lynx as well. This is a very unfortunate trend I've seen increasing over the last couple years. The answer almost always comes from an nginx server, but my understanding is that it's User-Agent sniffing being

You're absolutely right. My own first exposure to this type of learning resource was Ruby Koans. I believe Rustlings (which was my direct inspiration) also credits RK. I'll update the README with the grandparent attribution. :-)
