As a English native and Dutch speaker, many of the Anglish words translate directly into Dutch, somewhat unsurprisingly. “Gnawdeer” is indeed “knaagdier” in Dutch, a very cute word I always find. :)

I don't know about the kind of web apps you've been building, but most of the ones I've built over the last 10-15 years have had too much interactivity to be done with simpler server side rendering.

This is just the landing page for a research paper? It's hard to understand what the actual production capabilities of this are.

Just want to say as a fellow dev who loved the glory days of Rails and then later Meteor (I actually launched a production app on HN that used Meteor!), best of luck! I'm not really in the market for a universal app framework like this

Yup, come to the same conclusion. I browsed the source of this project, in particular the password hashing and encryption, it seems overcomplicated compared to a KISS bcrypt implementation. I’ve also spent way too much time integrating Auth

The pro nuclear types hate these observations because they’re painfully true. Battery storage is already doing a lot in the UK (4.6GW/5.9GWh) and the huge solar build out is a no brainer. Nuclear power is a dead end technology

Even with prompt caching this adds a huge extra time to your vector database create/update, right? That may be okay for some use cases but I’m always wary of adding multiple LLM layers into these kinds of applications. It’s nice for th
