The book looks great. I don't have any experience in crypto really but will certainly be taking a look at the early chapters here for a foundation. edit: ignore the below, just got to this explanation in the book! > The entire Crypt

I understand the context, but "back with a vengeance" doesn't exactly fit the rule of "Don't abuse the text field in the submission form to add commentary to links. The text field is for starting discussions. If you

No need for the sensationalist title (currently "Popcorn Time is back with a vengeance"). "Popcorn Time build 0.2.7" would suit it fine.

I was a QA intern at Echo Nest in Somerville over the summer and was super surprised to see this today! They're a really a fantastic and fun group of people and doing incredible work, having a fun time while they do it. (Speaking, natu

It may be worth considering how much discomfort you feel when referring to a trans person by the gender identity they prefer, versus the discomfort they feel being referred to by the gender you prefer for them. I can just about guarantee yo

Unexpected but long overdue. It's a feature which means a lot to those that want it and has zero effect on those who don't. Glad to see the change.

Just a heads up, the inverse hyperbolic trig functions are arsinh, arcosh, and artanh. That's "ar" and not "arc" which stands for area.

Check out Learn Ruby the Hard Way [0]. You don't have to do every exercise, but check out the titles and do the ones with names of stuff you might have only skimmed over in code academy. CA is good for teaching syntax, but L*HW is good

Just tried to submit this but was redirected here. Fascinating article and an important discussion for the tech community to have.

That was my first thought. Github's needed this feature for a while and github repos are my favorite thing to find on the frontpage of HN anyway.

This is how private torrent trackers try to keep their content quality high and, for the most part, it seems to work relatively well actually. Obviously it's not the same for a social news site necessarily.

What are you looking for in a status line plugin then? You can customize it a lot in your vimrc without a plugin.

I happen to really like this. I used a few lines in vimrc to make mine a little more practical for me: "" airline settings " remove separators let g:airline_left_sep='' let g:airline_right_sep=''
