It would be great if there was a website like HN where I can go and it has all the news from the companies I am interested in and based on my subscription it would also recommend what else to be aware of. HN fulfils this role for now.

I am not sure when the car industry reaches that iteration where you can swap out batteries. It already happened for the electric rollers and it is freakin amazing. I think many of the electric car skeptics would convert if there was a way

Amen to that. It would be pretty amazing to write Rust for the UI everywhere.

I am not sure if this works on my end: sqlite> PRAGMA journal_mode = delete; delete sqlite> PRAGMA journal_mode = wal2; delete Does this mean wal2 is not available?

I understand that you mastered producing a single binary with your favorite build tool. In my experience if a language does not have an official way to build projects it does end well. Go, Rust and Zig are the prime example that a language

I am not sure there is fear against Java as much as there are better alternatives for many use cases.

There are legitimate reasons to chose Go over Java, starting with the build system and the amount of effort needed to produce a single binary. I use Java for 20 years and Go for ~2. I am not actively hating Java but I value my time, special

It would be great to have a language that is a love child of Erlang and Rust. All I need is: repl, message passing, actor model, lightweight-threads and strong types. :)

There are less and less touching servers directly happening. Not only DevOps but the current raise of k8s and serverless deployments making it less relevant. There is also the security aspect of it. The downside is that people (especially t
