AT&T gave me a free iPhone SE because of this. I prefer Android using generic brands bought online that have a good feature set at a lower cost. None of these phones will work with AT&T even though they meet the technical requirem

I think what happens is then your wife goes through her 4 houses and then your kids, etc. It's a good idea though. I'd prefer all homes get high taxes and then give a homestead exemption to the one you live in for 6+ months out

Probably because it doesn't work long term. Sure a bit of extra money can keep someone around for a short duration. Eventually that person is going to leave for the underlying reasons that aren't financially motivated.

It's a hard problem to tackle as it would have to be a national law but that goes into individual state jurisdiction. I would say if our goal is to increase affordable housing we just need more of it. Ban renting of single family dwel

I've played with a free .tk domain and use their framed redirect (http only) to point to a itty.bitty.site page. Works transparently as far as a user goes.
