Wouldn't these be slow because all the operations are dependent? e.g. on x86 I'd use one of the 2 hash functions that has built-in instruction support

I don't agree with Israel censoring websites, but important to keep in mind Al Jazeera is run by Qatar which is a monarchy without real freedom of the press, it's not CNN. They have strong regional interests and an obvious desir

There isn't a single user focused reason in "Why Lix?" The alleged benefits of forking exclusively focus on making developers lives easier.

Isn't it the case that there are a near infinite number of forms of cancer for any organ? Any combination of mutations that causes unrestricted growth right? So how can it just be 2 forms?

I tried NixOS because I needed to recreate an environment with a specific GCC version. It was absolute hell, you are likely looking back on your experience with rose colored glasses now that you know how things work. Even really really real

It's a peer reviewed review listing a bunch of studies that according to the OP shouldn't exist so I think it's pretty relevant here.

Why every time a new technology comes out with crappy obvious limitations does somebody feel compelled to write a blog post trying to justify it as actually good? This is just somebody trying to talk themselves into keeping their $3,500 toy

IIRC the question is when the phone is totally locked, e.g. if you turn it off then turn it back on and haven't entered the PIN yet. In this state even apple can't get an update to run, the secure hardware won't do it unless

I have been writing low latency code for a decade and never seen cascading deletes be a problem. GC on the other hand is a constant latency problem for people.
