Since 1Password is Canadian, does that apply? It’s not if an American has access, it’s US based companies, no?

Just a nitpick: 1Password is Canadian (still not European, but not us based, if that’s the issue). I do understand the choice to move all into proton though. Off topic: that’s a beautiful website

I'm all for regulating dark patterns, but I don't think it's easy to say what's addictive design or not. We have no objective basis to measure this with. You could consider unlimited scroll a dark pattern and block that,

It sounds like you can check for `~/.local/bin/gh-token-monitor.sh` or if there's an extra macOS LaunchAgent (I use LaunchPad on macOS to manage my launchctl services). You can also check systemd on linux, but I'm l

How you know this is a monopoly is that if you go on their documentation website half the video is how this rolls into Google Analytics. This is using another product to reinforce the search and ads monopoly. You can’t scrape content to bui

Google ADK might be useful, especially v2 reorients it around graph operators for control flow. Your specific case is listed in the v2 docs with an operation that fans out to parallel many tasks then joins the results.

In an absurd kind of way, it might turn out brutally honest. This would be “apologize to the OpenClaw community for the following issues …. Say we’re going to do something so this doesn’t happen. Design a flashy page too, something that fee

There is, a dumb header flag sent by the browser that attests to the user being in an age group. Fakeable? Sure. Fakeable by an average 13-16 year old on a parental locked device? No.

I'm writing my (Canadian) MP to this effect. There are a lot of issues with the UK approach. Privacy is a big one. But requiring this on every service is both a tax on the service and requires constantly authorizing stuff. That opens u

If you’re in Canada please write your MP about bill S-209, which brings this nonsense here. As someone on a tech forum, we’re the only people who can really articulate the issues with the age verification approach. It’s really the worst sol

Not the OP, but: - China is the largest open weight provider, with Mistral and Cohere delivering a few other models. There isn’t much else internationally - (I think OP is suggesting) this would effectively ban Chinese models in the US, whi

I’ve always struggled with what should be in Claude.md that doesn’t belong in readme.md or a similar supporting file. I tend to include a well documented justfile, so between the readme and that common commands are covered. If there’s a sty

I run an OpenClaw VM and used Claude Code to build the VM scripts. The VM is connected to local llama.cpp, so OpenClaw and the models are running on my own physical hardware.

That’s incredibly frustrating. I’ve got a NixOS Qemu VM I use to run openclaw in. I had Claude help me set it up, and it runs local models on my own machine in a config based sandbox. Why should Claude block or charge extra to work on that?

That would be “permissive license” Maybe we should have a little cue card for models: vendor/name, size, open weights, open source, permissive license. It’s simple enough an idea.

I’m actually trying to move back from the Claude Code style, I feel like it’s easy to become distant from your own code, and I am feeling uncomfortable with that. I’ve “vibe-coded” some projects and when I start to find issues or go to refa
