This is great! I love tools that help you understand tough concepts in a simple, no setup way. We'll definitely include this in our curricula at http://www.thinkful.com/ Would love to talk about other ways to work toge

I disagree – customer support doesn't start with the person on the phone with the customer, it ends there. When a company designs a process where the person on the phone isn't empowered to effect change that person is guaranteed t

The same thing happened to us as http://www.thinkful.com/ , only it took 18 hours to come back! Customer support was hilariously useless as well: "Yes, happens to everyone." "No, there's nothing we can do

Awesome book. I think we used this book in my CS days, but would have to check my notes. Well timed post as well: We're adding more on programming fundamentals to our course at http://www.thinkful.com/

I disagree. I found the tutorial for beginners really well done and when followed by the conceptual model it was solid. We're thinking of integrating them into our course at http://www.thinkful.com/ – though we provide

Mostly because it's not productive. Ideas, especially early ones, are malleable and changing. Saying it "Sucks" is like building a brick wall. Instead you want to ask something that illuminates the way so the idea improves. T

I guess we're in this together: At the least, there's gotta be a way to up the "getSearchRecords" API quota limit from a measly 250. We asked if we could _buy_ more and were told flat out "No." I can understand

Neat article, but deeply undermined by zoho's mediocre execution in their crm product. The data model and search are solid, but the ui is wildly buggy (the back button doesn't work!) and the API is slow, missing features and poorl

Yeah – This was too quickly worded. What I'm saying is that these middle-size companies are too large to be seen as sexy startups that can make you millions, yet still too small to provide the mentorship needed for jr talent. One or two jr

After 10 years in the workforce it seems to me the most important thing to focus on is getting a job that'll give them exposure to new things. Our students at http://www.thinkful.com often find themselves a couple years out of school, lan
