FASTBuild has been a game changer for our team recently if you have extra hardware sitting around. https://www.fastbuild.org/docs/home.html

I agree, the default change logging using something like semantic-release would result in this, which feels way off: # Bug Fixes - foo bar'ing

To each their own, I really enjoy my 2018 Model 3 glass roof. Although a stress fracture from no where would really annoy me. For what its worth I've had a crazed man preach from on top of my Model 3 roof and it still looks brand new

I guess it depends on the EV. We one-shot Seattle to Portland because it's only ~180 miles. I can't imagine spending 2-3 hours charging on that trip. We'll spend ~20-30 minutes charging on the way home but that's it. N

Definitely different than raod tripping in an ICE. We road trip in our Model Y and end up stopping often regardless of charging for snacking, stretching, walking the dogs, etc. I remember talking to a coworker would couldn't accept tak

Cold soaked batteries are definitely less ideal but if you can plug in at home, planning your charge times and pre-conditioning the car while plugged in significantly reduces the range effects (and preheats the cabin for you!)

I normally change mine to `project.svg` but that's just my preference.

It allows the user to change the default from drawning.svg, but that is still the default out of the box. https://gitlab.com/inkscape/inkscape/-/merge_requests/7801

I have my first contribution to Inkscape in this release I think. It's quite a minor feature though, so I don't see it in the changelog. It allows the user to set their default saved file name. I was tired of drawing.svg :)

I love old MMO server reverse-engineering. MapleStory custom servers helped get me into programming in middle school/high school. I still have an inkling to get back into MapleStory custom servers (or other MMOs) but to be honest some

Fwiw I assume most people feel this way. I am a 90s kid and I watch things like Stranger Things and feel nostalgia for a simpler time even though I wasn't even alive in the 80s.

I'm a novice in this space I think. I've self-hosted for over a decade and around 2019 I moved over to Unraid, which is generally pretty visual (web portal or configuring and doing maintenance). I find the web portal very easy.

Similar here. Somewhat ironic that a tool that was supposed to be preventing merge conflicts was authoring completely mangled commits to our mainline branch.

If you use Merlin Bird ID and have an outdoor microphone (a camera with a RTSP stream will do!) this is a fun app to self-host. I looked for something like this a few years ago and the only solution I could find for self-hosting was BirdNET
