They (SpaceX) also use RUD (rapid unscheduled disassembly) which is fun.

What a cool experiment (a Mars helicopter!). I can't wait until we (humanity) have "boots on the ground" there to make this sort of experimentation a few step changes quicker.

This is the sort of thing that makes me salty that Unifi Protect is basically cloud locked in. No direct IP connection with "local" account support on the mobile app.

We use QuickJS in Minecraft for our scripting engine. It's nice that he has got back into it these days and been adding ES2023 support. I also had to double check but we do indeed list it on our website, albeit in a sea of others. ht

Blame data brokers for making such asinine restrictions. You can also just use the free version to collect a list of brokers your self and manually contact all of them to find out how much of a pain in the ass it is.

I think the gaming industry in general has use the passion that devs have for games as a good excuse to not pay more, which obviously has worked. > The best thing was that the player base appreciated every one of us, and constantly thank

Roborock (Xiaomi) and Dreame are the big players from what I see. Both conveniently have models that can be "de-clouded" with Valetudo: https://valetudo.cloud/

Cat Soup has a Netflix version. It has no ads, which is great. It also doesn't have any of the buffs that ads give you, making the game a lot less fun lol. IMO a bad "adless" port without much thought.

This would be amazing. We road trip a few times a year in our Model Y and the Superchargers at the gas stations are the best. Grab a snack, a bathroom break, and a small walk, then back on the road. The chargers near nothing are just incon

I really enjoyed this year's and last year's cppfront talk by Herb Sutter. I used cppfront in Advent of Code this year and it was a (buggy and unpolished) blast.

I am going to nit pick you a little bit but if you want a good reason to use Firefox, then here it is. "built into Chrome" implies that Chrome is the only web browser.

I don't care for Elon Musk but Teslas are by far the best all around EV experience when considering road tripping. That was true when we got our 2018 Model 3, and when we got our 2022 Model Y, and likely will be until full NACS adoptio

I really want to like hydro but it has clear negative effects on ecology (namely fish). I am really hoping wind and solar don't affect local ecology as much.

It's been a pretty cool area to see innovation in. Newer Teslas (Model Y at least) have a really complex heat pump system that really helps reduce range loss dude to cold weather.

Working in games, font code is truely the depths of hell that you try to punt to someone else as often as you can. Maybe one day we will support right to left text!
