Also, I found these algorithms could always go more and more meta. For instance, in some situations a large "clone fraction" was optimal, or large "mutation rate", whilst in other cases it brought chaos and degraded the

I agree completely that the US higher ed (in engineering) is highly idealistic and not job or practical oriented. However, I think this is probably the strongest advantage of the US over everywhere else. This kind of system is the only way

I haven't tried your app, but from the video it seems you have those discrete notes. Have you though about having a sort of continuous time/frequency domain? I guess you could do that with an Inverse Wavelet transform or Inverse S

I haven't seen any checks on this, but I suspect the Dyson can probably move more air than a regular fan. It probably isn't more raw energy-efficient, but it can be more comfort energy-efficient (more comfort for the same energy), because

There are also numbers that can't _possibly_ be represented by this system using the elementary functions/operators, i.e. are "non-analytic". This may actually not be a problem in most instances, however. It really depends on the use case,

What's special about representing rationals in finite memory? By definition they can be represented by two finite integers. There are many ways of describing irrational numbers in finite memory if you allow this kind of generalization, e.g.

Yea but simplifications like this are probably non-computable, even when possible, and hard to do in any case.

Interesting take on floating point problem, but it seems as if writer isn't well versed on the centuries old solution of this problem, namely refinement calculations for lin algebra and more general iterated numerical methods for nonlinear
