Apologies for the shameless plug: If anyone is interested in making a game for Game On, you might be interested in using PlayCanvas ( http://playcanvas.com ) to do so. Our CEO, Will, spoke at the Mozilla Game Jam in London at the weekend. W

We've been testing out ammo.js (Emscripten compiled Bullet) for 3D physics. In this demo http://apps.playcanvas.com/will/ammo/crates after the first couple of resets, it runs smoothly. It does indeed seem to be the JIT warming up. The goo

Hmm, that seems unusual. I'm running a Late 2008 MBP and I get between 20-40FPS in Chrome and similar in FF. Though my machine has 512MB GPU RAM, so it's possible that you are running out of space for textures. There's still work to do ther

Without trying to sound too harsh, and apologies to the developer it does, this seems to be a case of "Launch mediocre game with no marketing to Google Play and make no money." I'm not really sure what he was expecting. I suggest: 1. Use th

In the very short term, there are few advantages of Flash over HTML5/WebGL. In the medium to long term, HTML5/WebGL becomes a much more attractive prospect. Desktops are mostly covered already. Most mobile phones browsers should support Web

Well, if Mojang do what they did with Minecraft it'll be out as an early alpha and then they'll develop it from there. It would be interesting to see how that method works now that they have a million interested users on day one.
