I worked at a large OTA (Online Travel Agency) who adopted Affirm a few years back. I vehemently opposed it and told everyone I could up the chain of command. A vast majority of the folks who used it, are the ones who shouldn't use it.

Agree. Robotics get the bad rap because it can physically be pointed at vs. an AI in the cloud. Robots mostly take redundant physical labor whereas software is taking the cush jobs away.

Great Interview, enjoyed this a lot. Interesting to think about different points of supply and the communication systems. I deal with this obfuscation on a daily basis.

"what’s stopping a centralized player from duplicating the benefits of that superior solution at a lower cost in a centralized platform?" - This has been my strategy as of late. There are some real cool concepts being built. But o

Very Cool! Going to play around with this. A great way to make quick visual text games with my kids instead of via CLI which can be intimidating.

Not at all trying to dehumanize anyone. Just don’t think pornography should be ubiqitous on the internet. A simple “adult models” would have been better. I don’t want my 7 year old daughter to search top paid models and end up finding this

Also for Amazon, Walmart, CVS, Costco... Disallow white label products. They just learn about products, copy, undercut then crush them due to distribution. Its anti-competition and demotivates new advances.

Disagree. Agree with 100% with OP. Taxes are high, reinvest in your company. Taxes are low, transfer wealth to yourself. As an aside, just to make some peoples blood flow perk up. In 2020, if you have paid any taxes in the last 5 years, you

Would it be worse if they didn’t acquire it, but crushed it in the market? Obviously we won’t know.

Would be interesting to see what would happen if the tax were increased. Would there be a mass transfer before it went into affect? I wonder how the current age categories of wealth accumulation compare with previous generations.

This is awesome. We are big fans of WeDo and First Lego League. We might need to ask Santa to bring this early. For the kids, of course.

Something about this story doesn’t add up. If this were 99% of the manufacturers I know, they would be operating 24/7 right now. Call every available temp agency and load that place up. The only fathomable excuse is if they can’t get e
