Good point! I didn't realize this. In Romania where I'm from, cash on delivery is very common. But the scheme couldn't work with credit cards. Very few people encrypt email, and undoubtedly they would send sensitive data.

Oh! The customers would also verify their e-mail address at the same time, by sending a message from it. But of course, to do any analytics, you'd have to parse the messages.
