I think parts blacklisting (i.e. you report a phone as stolen, all of its OEM parts are blacklisted) is good as an anti-theft measure and achieves the same functionality. I can also understand parts pairing for Face ID for security, and may

Fitting more than 4B numbers into 4 bytes is mathematically impossible, but building a backwards compatible and easier to integrate standard may not be. Take USB for example. The capabilities of USB 3.1, 3.0, 2.0 is impossible to achieve fo

The USB-C chip itself is cheaper and not compatible. A SoC or CPU can support 512GB of RAM for example, but you won't get 512GB of RAM unless you have 512GB of RAM.

Eh, a 4x5 film camera can get you about 100MP of non-Bayer resolution if you have a lens that is sharp enough: https://www.kenrockwell.com/tech/100mp.htm That would require about ~200MP Bayer.

Is it possible to link two and get 48GB VRAM and higher batch sizes?

by dannyw 3y ago
It takes two to tango. AMD is always welcome to contribute patches. You also have to keep in mind some latest gen AMD GPUs don’t even officially support ROCm on Linux. That’s absurd. AMD has a choice to invest more staff into ML support, th
