I've been thinking of a similar project for project management but wasn't sure if there was a market/interest for it. In short, a project management app with an MMORPG-ish twist. Completing a task gives you XP (as set by another member of t

After getting a 9 to 5 doing web development I rarely program in my free time. I usually open vim, write a few lines, lose interest and start browsing the internet or hanging out with friends. :/

There is no reason to believe in a god, and no evidence to support it. I'd like to know why people do believe in a god, as not believing in one is fairly easy. So, a question to your question, is there a good reason you believe in it (assum

Not a screencast, but a friend in IRC just took a couple (not so exciting) screenshots of himself running it. http://i.imgur.com/ek8eS.png http://i.imgur.com/f8JMg.png

I use Gandi as well and haven't had any trouble, they also have a lot of specials on short TLDs.

I'm down for one. Also, if HN hasn't done this already, a secret santa of used tech stuff would be neat.

Well, short version, I couldn't get government help 'cause my family is considered upper middle class and I'm not yet independent, plus my grades sucked too hard for grants. Whatever other ways there were I was too lazy to look into. I do p

I only have one real complaint, and that is this: The email or password contains invalid invalid characters. Only letters (A-Z) and numbers (0-9) are allowed. What's the point in not allowing special characters in a password (s

A somewhat similar project, Aerial[1], does comments through git. Although I've yet to try it out, it seems like a nice solution. 1. http://github.com/mattsears/aerial
