I still don't like that the AMO review process can take weeks and months. Mozilla even says it themselves! But hopefully with WebExtension and a permission model things will get easier for getting through reviews.

It's been one month and the new version of an extension I wrote is still waiting to be reviewed. I've since stopped waiting and started using the new version myself rather than download from AMO. I was already very disappointed by

I was using Privacy Badger, Ghostery, Disconnect, AdBlock Edge or uBlock. Nowadays I just use uMatrix[0] & Self-Destructing Cookies to have a whitelist browsing experience rather than a blacklist experience. Perhaps when Privacy Badger

I use Plivo to forward calls and sms for 2 of my old phone numbers. One is a US # and one is Canadian #. You don't have to program it to forward, you could very easily code an autoresponder type thing. Here's some code to get you

Nice! The interface looks very nicely done. I like that you thought about syncing too. Except personally I don't like storing things on Dropbox but I guess it's just metadata too. I haven't heard of vault, so I looked into it

I pretty much wrote hash0 ( https://github.com/dannysu/hash0 ) for most reasons you listed. Would love more auditing if you're interested to take a look.

There are many of this type of hash function based generators, but pretty much all use fast hash functions. The no salt thing also makes me uneasy. From another Ask HN[0], I learned about bpasswd[1] which does bcrypt and allows the cost (it

Great job guys! Things like this together with CalDAV and CardDAV are reasons why I pay you guys for service. I just tried the following experiments with my Gmail and FastMail account. There's a reason why FastMail just feels faster!

I read the changelog and saw that proprietary window.crypto functions are removed. I actually make use of window.crypto.getRandomValues(), and good thing that's not going away: https://wiki.mozilla.org/SecurityEngineeri

I missed it coming from Chrome, but you can see what's stored in localStorage for a particular site by bringing up the console and typing localStorage just like how a web app can access it. Don't know a way to see localStorage for

I wish there was a good open-source POS 6 months ago! But I didn't find any that fit my startup's needs. I think it's awesome that you're doing this as it'll help retailers a lot. We can exchange notes. A basic POS
