Incorrect. While you might not understand the lower level systems, as long as you understand the logic of it you are good to go. Just plopping in code from ChatGPT or even Stack Overflow without vetting it is a dangerous game. You have to

For the same reason giving a 5 year old a calculator to "learn" addition doesn't teach them math. You still need to know why shit works in order to use it in a fully educated way. Otherwise you are just "putting magic wo

Normally I am on Valve's side, but I agree that them pulling CS:GO was a stupid move. Anyone else would have been torn a new one for doing that. Even though its not as popular as the others, I just stick to CS:Source and CS:1.6. Can&#x

I just try to eat more veggies than meat these days. I'm not strictly vegetarian...I like a good hamburger every once in a while. But veggies are healthier than high-cholesterol meat anyway, so I just roast them up and heavily season t

The problem is, that making a 3D engine is extremely tough, and most 3D engines are completely proprietary as a result. There are plenty of 3D libraries that make 3D game development for small games easy, but when you compare a Python libra

Let me rephrase this with a different tool to point out how poor the argument is: >If they don't think the advantages that using YouTube gives them is worth $0.20 per 1000 views, they should probably work out how much it'd cost

They were already paying for it. The subscription model should be enough. It scales well enough for small devs to make decent amounts of money, and for Unity to get paid. You act as though indie studios are using this tool for free when tha

The outrage is that this pretty much kills hobbyist game devs in Unity. Unity was great because it allowed small devs who aren't seeking to make a profit to put stuff out there relatively quickly. I used it myself all the time in colle
