Part of my divemaster training included free diving training. While I hatted it, I experienced the same thing as you did: I could hold breath for a minute out of water and 2:08 underwater. There's the preparation, getting calm and rela

AirFrance gave me the option to get "Stream speed" in a flight from Paris to Sao Paulo a few days ago. By "stream speed" I assume it allows netflix. I didn't test it tough.

I owned a few (sony, beats, Samsung, and others - all over the ear) and settled with Bose. My QC35 was great and worked for years, but recently I upgraded to a Bose 700 and can say that, if you're looking specifically for Noise Cancell

How's that? Firefox is way better nowadays than it was a few years ago. I have been using as my main work browser for some time and I don't face any performance issues with it.

As long as it uses Apple's WebView, it's OK. This was the case for Firefox, they had to ditch Gecko in favor of using Apple's webview for iOS.

I've heard this a few times. I know some friends had this question too. There are some variance, but the context is the same: "Look this guy, he started facebook when he was 19 and he's now a billionaire, why don't you t

$190 per week, for 10 weeks, looks like a very small loss considering the experience and 'fun' of learning all this.

This reminds me that fateful question that we, software engineers, use to hear from our moms/dads/family: "Why don't you start a facebook?"

This is the most useful thread in HN in years. As someone who started his engineering career after the burst, is good to hear the experiences (good ones and bad ones) before the next one burst.

isn't this just a wrap on top of git rebase -i HASH^; git commit --amend --author "Jhon Doe"? Also, as already noted, this overwrites all the history after the commit, making it useless. Then people said it's a joke...
