Partitioning an already heavily used disk for bootcamp is probably the closest any relatively normal user would ever get to needing to degrag an OS X volume. And pretty much the only time a normal user would ever need to reinstall OS X is i

Two sites that I've put up in the past 6 months have yet to be crawled by bing (it indexed the main page of one, but has absolutely nothing for the second), despite it indexing links pointing to those sites and me submitting them to be inde

Obsolete is a verb, but it is a poor choice. A better choice would be obsolesce, as in: "LESS.js will obsolesce CSS" "Obsolete" is the correct word because it's a transitive verb (eg, [subject] obsoletes [object]), while obsole

I've been frustrated with Issues recently because it's incredibly difficult to find issues that show up in google results. When I search for errors and get a hit from github Issues, the link never goes to the issue itself. As far as I can t

There's a class of people who just don't get that this is an issue. You can see it in the comments here. These model numbers are an opaque code that needs to be deciphered. Just because you happen to have learned how to decipher them doesn'

Great. I'll reiterate that I recommend highlighting gemcutter. qrush and the contributors have done an excellent job with it, it contains examples of how to approach a variety of tasks (even has examples of using metal, middleware and embed

There are only a handful of active lovd by less forks and none of them have apparently removed the pervasive, unnecessary monkey patching. If you don't know what I'm referring to, start reading the code, notice that there are a bunch of wei

I don't agree with this list. Spot.us, for instance, has completely non-standard controller code that goes against widely accepted conventions. I also haven't looked at lovd by less in a while, but last I checked they relied on widespread m

There are some issues with Textmate. One of the most glaring and commonly cited is the absence of split windows. What's really unfortunate is that the handful of features that the majority of people are really itching for don't require the

You still could easily find you need to, even with IE 8. Sure, simple box positioning is easier and most of the stock jQuery UI library works fine, but it's precisely when you try to do anything moderately fancy that IE can quickly because
