they show an example of ML when selecting a text in android and how it predicts how much text should it select depending on what it is (a full address, an email etc).. don't know how they made it but it was almost instant, I'm sur

I'll take good IDE support over any of the things you mention above. Seeing how my colleagues refactor in XCode makes me cringe every time... Kotlin support in IntelliJ is almost as good as Java.

It happen the same to me, I ended up migrating the codebase to Typescript, and now I can have almost everything I want from a language, types and functions...

Yeah, but when you have to change anything in that part of the code, you thank that everything is statically typed and you know what that json object contains...

I don't use Telegram because of secure messaging, I use it because is clearly superior to WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger, and so many people.

I really love the new component creation syntax(API) and Typescript gradual typing is super useful. I can see Angular 2 being use even more than Angular 1 in the near future...

It's a good start to switch the extension name so you now in which files you can use es6... But as the other commenter said, all es5 JS is valid es6 JS...

It's awesome, in just a week you already have multiple very interesting mods ( 2 ways to 1 way roads and a query path tool to see the path of a car to his destination ), plus all the models etc.

You could have the best of both worlds with IDE support, once it is there people may stop putting so many innecesary layers if they aren't needed only so that function gets "inlined by the IDE"
