From my limited understanding this seems really impressive! I immediately associated this to possible disruption in the cement supply chain that's about to hit Sweden. Cementa, which produces about 75% of Sweden's cement, will no

Backstop.js is very useful for this. Provides good tools for viewing the visual diffs. Also possible to automate in a CI environment. https://github.com/garris/BackstopJS

Best of luck to you! Having said that I feel this is a tough space. Most developers spend a lot of time in different ticket systems at work and for the most part they suck. So when we want to scratch our entrepreneurial itch it’s easy to l

I think it could be this article by Tim Cochran? https://martinfowler.com/articles/developer-effectiveness.ht... EDIT: It appears that the author is Tim Cochran, not Martin Fowler as I initially wrote.

I’d suggest books and maybe journals. I’m perhaps a membership with ACM or IEEE, I’m not a member of either but I’m considering it. The most mentioned books on Stack Overflow (2017): https://web.archive.org/web/20170406

It's possible, but slightly cumbersome, to write isomorphic apps. Deno has a library that can bundle Typescript for the browser at runtime. But maybe look into Vite instead for frontend.

I agree with everything, I love my Advantage 2. I've been using it for about half a year and almost all pain my hands has gone away. Additionally I use Dvorak which I find to put less strain on my hands. And paired with your advice to

I think that going back and adding tests for existing code is both difficult and, to be honest, a bit boring/unmotivating. Writing tests is also a skill that takes time to acquire. I think the best way to go about this is to do it inc

Huh, we're using Jest with Vue and Typescript, and I've always assumed that Vue setup and Typescript transpilation were the heavy parts. We have far fewer tests than I'd like, and still the tests suite takes more than a minut
