Really? Have you read the piece (I believe it's in Surely You're Joking...) where Feynman gets evaluated by an Army psychologist? It reads very similarly to this.

I cannot explain how much you have hit the nail on the head. I graduated from college in May and have been having the exact experience you describe. My generation has been described as entitled. Quite frankly, I do feel as if I am owed

This is meaningless. There are no right or wrong reasons to be anything, no less an entrepreneur. It can be freestyle. Just one of the great things about it. If McClure is trying to lay out traits he seeks in people he invests in, that'

I'll grant you that xAuth is a little convoluted. With that said, Twitter deserves credit for being unprecedentedly accommodating and transparent during the transition away from basic auth. It is obviously in their best interest not to br

Snarkiness aside, it's a fair point. I'm a solo founder considering applying, and was wondering if any TechStars alumni can speak to this.

I'm still not sure I follow your reasoning. Admission to YC does not guarantee ramen-profitably nor does it preclude the possibility of earning a lot more.

I'm not sure what you mean by this. Are you suggesting that older individuals are less willing to take financial risk? I agree with that, but where is your 30-40K number coming from?

This point was raised when Gmail originally launched the feature. The problem is that it would essentially act as a read receipt, which is a privacy concern.

I don't mean to be too discouraging, but I really don't understand the point of this as a business. It seems like something that anybody could code in about five minutes, and YouTube itself has started to add playlist functionality.
