I've been using Jellyfin for a few years after crossing from Plex. What we want to do is just watch video via Chromecast. However both platforms make this very hard. The Android apps are just not reliable and are very confusing. Jell

Technically I'd call it a quickbread (muffin). Cake has more even ratios and more defined mixing techniques (creaming, foaming).

"Embrace and extend" I think - appear to adopt or support a technology only to attempt to influence, limit and block later developments. Other examples: J#, the Office XML standards etc etc

Depends on the performance of the house. Very little 'spitting' if it was built right (e.g. Passivhaus)

Erm, capital growth is one way of making money with an asset. It depends on the asset but there are other ways, e.g. dividends.

As the parent comment suggested, start with building houses properly. UK building standards are no where close to where they need to be. Then, the active heating input requirement is negligible.

We run our own FreeDB server at OneMusicAPI which we use to combine with other data. If anyone is inconvenienced by the FreeDB shutdown and needs some short term service to get them by, while they work out what else to do, send us an email

Didn't people used to say that sort of thing about music? That people are too cheap so they'll just pirate everything? Maybe it's convenience that is required.

My guess is that git is a supporting tool to the main task. As such, it's tempting to always search for the next solution for a git problem on StackOverflow, or wherever, rather than actually learning the concepts behind git. If people

A vapour barrier is different to an air barrier... An airtight membrane is not necessarily vapour tight.

The Economist is good, but I find it still a little too frequent for me, especially considering it costs about £5 a week. This for me is a little too much for something I probably won't get through every week. I tend to just buy it whe

I'm not sure what lane surfing is. But aside from the 130mph remark - changing lane to maintain speed is how you're supposed to drive on a motorway/freeway. So long as you're within the speed limit, of course. Braking

Even a cursory investigation or education of passivhaus concepts would show this to be nonsense. Passivhaus is not focused on one metric. To achieve passivhaus there are many metrics measured. Energy use, overheating, air quality, thermal b

Depends what you mean by "platform", and it might depend on what you are selling, but other channels you might want to look at are SEO, discussion forums, integration marketing etc. Take a look at the book "Traction".
