Overcast's author, Marco Arment, seems pretty clear in his design approach for Overcast (I listen to Accidental Tech Podcast, on which he's a host). He's pretty resistant to things to don't help the core experience of li

Compared to the S&P 500 going back to 1996, Berkshire Hathaway is up 845% vs 257% for S&P 500. Is this not a statistically significant result? (Or is there another average I should be looking at?)

Totally agree that it needs to be well-rehearsed. An alternative to being super well rehearsed is to record a video of the live coding and talk live over that, a technique I've used successfully in the past.

A flexible type system like that of TypeScript is pretty big and complex. It would take considerable time and effort to get that through TC39, I think. It could happen, but seems far off to me. For data, 46% of npm's survey respondents

Can Flutter really be called "native", though? As I understand it, it operates like Swing: it draws all of its own widgets. They do their best to emulate the platform's widgets, but it's not using the native APIs for the

That's a good question! If your keys leaked, you'd probably have to assume you lost all of the data up to that point. To secure the data going forward, you'd need to generate a second key per user for all of the future data.

You can use cryptoshredding: have an encryption key for each user (stored outside of this ledger) and encrypt all PII with that key. Throw away the key if the user wants you to delete their data.
