Awesome job if you're into data. I personally think data engineering is highly underrated in popularity. I mean not like sitting all day writing ETLs but stuff like building warehouses, ingestion, modeling, etc.

Wild that people argue against a11y and usability. I'm sure there is some cases where it doesn't matter but for the rest, hard requirement. At DocuSign it would put us out of compliance if I'm not mistaken.

I'll never forget the time I walked into Cupertino wearing Google Glass when they were close to releasing the iPhone 6 (big screen one) and I was escorted off the property. Lol

I'm not being lazy. It's a simpler way to end an email and wishes and regards sounds silly to end an email with to me. Best covers more bases.

Kind of similar to how I think of best but thanks is to preemptive if there is no ask so I add it in main message when there is something that was completed.

Best, [full name] Works for (almost) all cases IMHO. You can drop your last name if there is a slight relationship or less formal. And I just drop down to -[first name] after the relationship is there and for ongoing conversation/threa

Definitely agree that getting good at Regex over the years and more recently AWK/SED has helped me significantly.

These are pretty good questions. I'd put more value on say understanding HTTP or async/promises and how they work vs knowing the differences between methods. You can always look those up. One interesting thing with reduce would be

There's a split between our orgs. DocuSign runs a mono repo. But the big product I work on has its own giant mono repo. Design lib is another giant mono repo comprising general front end things also.

Same experience. It's interesting because we've had great success on our internal design lib's monorepo compared to the overall application. Which makes sense in some regards.

This hit a little to close to home for me. Haha basic sections is perfect. It is supremely hard to get monorepos right at scale without the right culture, tooling, and gating. But on the microservice side there is a list of clear cons as we

Not saying this is on the same level but I find it interesting that apps at that scale can run on Electron but Facebook's old non-native mobile apps performance was awful.

Definitely going to be buying up shares. Love their products and see Vault/TF (among the other products) growing their role in cloud/security.

Tried to think through situations where I ran into this and felt the same. Usually if I did this I saw it as a poor mutation choice and would revisit a better approach. Just asking for issues IMO.
