Unfortunate to be called something like that instead of an alternative for IMDB's ratings or something. Rotten Tomatoes is clearly meant to be just a parody website. Look at its name. It can't be taken seriously.

How to prove Twitter can't tamper with the implementation on their server side?

Honestly, it is not possible to perceive it as being written in good faith.

Nah, it has all to do with nazis this time. The current government isn't like the last one, that actually used the intelligence machine to attack opposition voices. Law kind of exists.

Sorry, but if one is directly stating nazi ideals, symbols, denying the ocurrence of hate crimes, spreading information on how to create weapons and more effectively invade schools to "go for the high score", one isn't a gay

It doesn't, really. It's specifically because Telegram failed to deliver all the requested information on certain nazi propaganda spreader groups.

The server side is still proprietary. They could have just given "dummied" source code to "independent researchers". Chances are ALWAYS against regular people.

WhatsApp is proprietary software. Its implementation of OpenWhisper is quite likely to have been tampered with to allow gathering personal user data. If it were safe, it'd be Free Software.

Nah, Free Software is better than proprietary. Discord's attack on privacy and user safety are there to see.

Well, and that's not to mention the massive amounts of personal data and metadata Discord is hoarding and doing whatever it wants with. I fail to see why this article didn't mention that OpenFeint had a privacy lawsuit in its end

...You believe them? After PRISM and all the things revealed in the last decade and half? They DO want people's data, and they DO hoard it. If they didn't, they would share the source code with the community.
