Singularity has nothing to do with any distance, it is a divergence at some point. The singularity in a black hole at r = 0 is also much less than a Planck length from the center. And a point mass, I would assume, will also always lead to

Disclaimer, I am not a physicist. There are two kinds of singularities related to black holes. The first kind are coordinate singularities, for example at the event horizon in the Schwarzschild metric. Those are mathematical artifacts of th

Some mechanism to separate individual items, a conveyor belt, maybe two cameras and then train some neuronal network on classifying the images. Training data is easily generated by feeding in a couple of boxes with known identical content.

My point was not that it might not be important, just that you probably do not want to assign a new name to a data structure just because you use a different representation. If the implementation would have been in a different language, the

I would guess a G-tree is still a B-tree with additional parent pointers, the fact that it is stored in an array is a matter of representation but does not fundamentally change the structure. This still stores pointers, they are just in uni

Fair point. I should have been more precise, I was actually thinking of »hypothetical, never actually realized, potentially impossible to realize true platonic communists« and not of some Soviet era communists or something like that.

The answer “because it’s against the law” is a simple, good answer. While often true, at all times there have also been morally wrong laws, so it would not be unreasonable to counter that being written into law on itself means nothing. So

That's nonsense, every worldview must be grounded in some axioms, that does not make it a religion. I can break it down somewhat more for you. The state has no powers besides the ones granted by its citizens. I value my privacy highly

If you have reasonable evidence, wiretapping a suspect to gain more evidence is fine. On the other hand wiretapping everyone in hope of finding some initial evidence, that is not okay at all.

Tensors are objects that combine in a certain way and act on vectors in a certain way, they roughly represent a collection of linear transformations. One way to represent a tensor is a matrix after fixing a basis.
