I'd also assume that a CLI resisting JSON support is likely to have a very stable interface. Maybe wishful thinking...

This is MSFT we're talking about. Aggressive legal maneuvers are right in their wheelhouse!

Let's also keep in mind that vitamins as supplement pills are mostly useless, we all mostly know this, yet we all mostly buy them anyway. Maybe this idea is already wrapped up in your "perceived ROI" comment...

Learning Korean to better communicate with my GFs family and take advantage of _finally_ having real motivation to learn another language. I'm really enjoying having a different type of challenge than I'm used to. Mostly approach

I'm in a similar situation - my girlfriend is Korean and speaks perfect English but some of her friends and family do not (and are rather self-conscious about it). I'd like to meet them halfway by getting to a basic conversation

You should be there. It won't be easy, but you will revisit this memory many times in the future. Each time you think about it later, you won't regret being there. You will, however, regret NOT being there. And know that it ge

Assuming continued forward progress, this feeling is true of each generation. But when I get nostalgia about all the progress the world made since my early childhood in the 80s...I think about my great grandfather who was 8-ish when the Wr

Give it another watch. I did recently and was surprised how funny it still is. It's rather timeless, mostly innocent, absurdist humor that still makes me laugh.

And it's normal to see young kids walk to school unattended in Seattle. I live near an elementary school and see it every day. Totally unusual in much of the rest of the US.

I'd like to extrapolate this further. Don't make yourself independent from the experience. If you're already enjoying yourself, you will enjoy the taste (of whatever is in debate) even more. You will associate the taste wit

Not necessarily. CFRP is plenty strong to handle the task. But it's a complicated material - though not necessarily new. I think one complication people underestimate when comparing to steel or titanium is that CFRP is NOT isotropic

I wonder how much damage has been done in the name of upholding "rugged individualism". We willingly isolate ourselves and refuse to ask for help when we need it while the problem just sprirals.

Got a decent citation? I can't even fathom what that would be like. I'd bet my daily inner monologue is 100X what I actually speak out loud.

I'm not convinced it's so nefarious. When the problem is this big, individuals eventually feel unable to help; not to mention that the mental health aspect causes people to (rightfully?) fear erratic/dangerous behavior. Wes
