Newcastle city centre is fine (around 19-20Mb most days) but I'm lucky to get 4Mb once I'm a couple of miles out.

That's partly the reason I posted it here - I couldn't find any info start with and was beginning to think it was my phone until I found someone else on Three.

Does anyone have any benchmarks? I've only made a couple of sites using Laravel but I actually really like it and haven't hit any performance bottlenecks yet.

SMS is a pretty basic part of the GSM standard so, if it didn't support it (assuming it's a GSM phone, of course)

Maybe they're hoping the overlapping letters make it more difficult to solve through a bot? I have to admit I'd expected something better, although it's certainly not a form designed to be seen (I'm assuming it's required for legal reasons)

I tend to say "tap" instead of "touch" and, at a pinch, this could work for mouse users. Saying that, most people will know what "click here" means, regardless of the input type, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

UK pricing includes VAT (20%). US pricing doesn't include taxes because they vary by state (not a US citizen, but I've been told that's the reason).

It has been pointed out, in these comments, that the design is quite similar to that of http://www.kashflow.com (though the markup is quite different)

They look very similar but the markup is quite different (KashFlow is a Wordpress blog, Manchester is "Jadu CMS") so I don't think they just used a template unless they went back to the original PSDs. FWIW, http://www.jadu.net are the age

I think I actually prefer http://www.gateshead.gov.uk , which is a lot less "in your face". If I go to a .gov.uk site it's because a need a specific piece of information, I don't need the design getting in the way.

Perhaps something they were using to seed the random number generator was being cached, leading to the same set of "random" numbers?

Do you have any examples of a UK house number & postcode combo that is used for more than one address? I thought postcodes were unique to each street.

The very fact that so many apps (Facebook, Twitter, Mail etc) remain signed in while not in use prompted me to use a lock code (albeit with a 5 min grace period, a trade off for convenience). I can't see why anyone wouldn't want it enabled.

Day low of $70 but now $180. Huge potential profits for some. Edit: that low is on bitstamp, mtgox has a low of $126. Still huge swings.
