I think sarcasm is hard to get for most of the geek community, and I wonder why, I tend to not get sarcasm until all logical understanding of a statement falls on the side, then I realize, "ho right it's sarcasm"

I tried the vnc over the raspberry from the kindle and it wasn't really satisfying for what it worth. The e-ink display size and refresh rate is ok for shell action, but not so interesting for the X window...

I was thinking if they did make 20inches e-ink - I would love to have that for my shell only workload. Would be nice for the eyes, light and minimal!

yeah it's actually not bad, the refresh is only on the character itself so it's workable. If you have a hacked kindle you can test with a terminal emulator, it give you a good idea of how fast the typing be.

this is mainly a comparison to closed source - if it's not in the corporation plan - you won't ever see the change you want. And I also think that everyone should learn programming too ;) but that's another story!

thanks for the idea - I guess, my design and creativity get under a lot of pressure when you get 2000 visits - I'll keep that idea in mind since i also like the idea of smooth animated background

- Try to only create and care. If I am not creating nor caring then it's probably a waste of time (create = code, draw, make music, solder etc... care = do yoga, train, clean the house, repair stuff around the house, garden, water the plant
