Isn't that a presentation model? Where the view gets it's own model so you can swap out different UI implementations.

This isn't just a C++ issue, in nearly every language strings will be immutable, that is if you add strings together it needs to create a new string somewhere with the new length of the string. So if you adding multiple strings togethe

Snapchat which is an app that lets you send a time limited picture deletes it when you view it. You can't view the message without their client. Of course you can take a screenshot of the image, but they have figured out how to capture

Yes but when you professed such beliefs you were labelled a conspiracy nutter. Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't listening.

Do they really have a monopoly in search? Have they bought/created all the patents that stop other companies from implementing online search engines? I don't think there is a monopoly in search, look we have duckduckgo for instanc

If the bank can claim fraud because you changed the terms and conditions hoping they wouldn't notice, could we claim fraud for them sending the initial T&C in such small print hoping we wouldn't notice them? It should go both

Not wrong, and what I view as an intermediate step of the evolution of a project. But the crux of your argument, also invalidates it :) as a hacker you should be able to hack around github being dead.

Surely you have a local git repo? You shouldn't need git to deploy, build a system package and deploy that.

Would it really be a big pain? It's not like you have memorized the calendar. You always look it up, you will just be looking it up in a new system (or not needing to look it up as it's a logical system).

You can design your containers/vm to self configure with puppet/chef. I have ec2 instance that you configure by telling it what role it is when you start it and then it has headless puppet scripts which configure it on boot.

Most IDEs have code completion. It's a boon with long descriptive names as you are more likely to pick the right one. Just start typing the method name of something that might work and pick the correct method.

I'm going to play devil's advocate for a little bit and say that the email-like-ads are in your promotions tab. A tab that is meant for ads. I turned off the tabs and I don't get the email ads.
