Here is problem. Patented algorithms/software usually don't have any physical world implementation. Thus it is math by your definition.

I think RFC covers this: From http://www.w3.org/Protocols/rfc2616/rfc2616-sec9.html Section "9.1.2 Idempotent Methods". "However, it is possible that a sequence of several requests is non- idempotent, even if all of the methods executed i

I just want to punch some holes in your reasoning: 0. I agree that if you want to get native look you should use native tools but there is market for apps that don't have to look native (e.g. games). Actually I see bigger demand for custom

I think in IT you are creative person and you can't create more than you want to. You can be extremely productive but there is upper limit. If you get 10 days and don't get 28 days like European you get that 18 days in some other way.

I think there is nothing wrong about 10 days or 40 days. It is more important how something matches your expectations. If you expect 28 days and get less then that's bad. As European I really enjoy long vacations and use them for personal d

In Lithuania after 4 years of austerity we work the same 8 hours and have 28 days for vacations. The only thing that was taken from us is holidays that matches with weekends (e.g. Mother day is on Sunday so we don't get free Monday anymore)

I completely agree here about QML. While Visual Studio allows to make drag-and-drop development what is very nice for beginners but you should support your apps as well and QML wins here.

I guess not anymore. trello, asana, workflowy are just sophisticated to-do lists. I have not checked do.com but I guess they are more complicated than simple to-do list. While I'm doing todo list service/app as solo hacker.
