I hosted Tiny Tiny RSS myself for years after Google Reader closed, I must say it was very stable and hardly ever needed intervention. But eventually I got fed up and moved to Feedly.

This is my concern with things like the Wordpress auto updater, but it seems the trade off is not having to worry about manual patch management. Security vs convenience as always.

Yeah I've banked with 4 different people now in the UK and had visa debit cards every time. Anyway I got declined with my visa debit card earlier, tried another payment terminal in the supermarket and it worked fine.

Sorry I still don't get it. That thread explains some uses for expanders, just not after compressor or limiters in the same effects chain. Surely if you need an expander after a compressor then you've got your setting wrong on the

I'm not sure I understand the point of using an expander after a compressor as one reduces the dynamic range but the other increases it again. What about a little eq cut/boost instead?

If you have concerns for privacy, find a paid service you trust. Hosting an email server yourself is a great learning exercise but you'll be forever playing whack-a-mole with spam and wondering if your setup is actually properly secure
