30 minutes for a half charge, or less than 5 for a full tank(with 4X the range)? The time is going to need to be cut drastically(though I'm not sure how without violating the laws of physics) before this business model will be able to gain

I haven't trusted Facebook since Beacon. And I never will again. I never put anything on my page I'm not comfortable with the entire internet seeing.

As someone who knows just about nothing about HFT(theoretically this article's target market) I don't see anything wrong with it. Care to elaborate about why its "bad on so many levels"?

This post identifies a "problem" and then offers no solution whatsoever. Previews that offer no meaningful information at all belong in a movie theater. Not on HN. Flagged.

It occurs to me that the single biggest complaint about the current update is the lack of processing power in the current MacPro. Why not rig together a box the size of an external drive that contains a dozen core Xeon processor and 64GB of

Minor point of clarification: the article says "pure steam...has no ceiling temperature." Water vapor begins to decompose into oxygen and hydrogen around 2200C(1). Probably well above the threshold of anything capable of generating electric

Does anyone know if Instagram will require facebook credentials to log in now? One major reason I have enjoyed Instagram is that it's a separate network away from facebook etc.

I'm so glad this app is finally available for Android. I sold my iPhone 4 last August and I've missed this app so much. I also miss Path, but it's not currently compatible with my Samsung Replenish. Oh well. If you don't have this app yet,

I have found a compromise that works well for me when I'm asked to login with facebook. I have created an account that exists solely for situations like this. That way I can use whatever site or app I want and its not connected to me.

The community is what attracted me to, and what has kept me going back to reddit. The comment threads there are full of people who genuinely seem to care about one another in a way I have never seen in any other site.
