The issue is that pre-fab housing is fundamentally about low cost. There's nothing preventing a master craftsman from building the perfect pre-fab, but it will be so expensive that anyone who could afford it would rather buy a "re

This is really cool! I was impressed by the demo. I would be sad to see this replace a more "traditional" cli/tui, but for highly complex command line applications like qemu this is really awesome!

I doubt it. Formal verification helps you prove your algorithms are correct. Bugs from unsafe rust are going to be way more subtle than that, like accidentally assigning a string and crashing [1]. [1] https://lucumr.pocoo.org

> Flipping burgers is useful work. We were talking about important work, thus my point about how you want to define important. Screwdrivers are useful, but none of the screwdrivers I own are important. I could lose one and not notice.

It depends on how you define "important", I guess. Flipping burgers is not relatively important, useless, or harmful. It's not a "bug". It's just something that has to get done, so we pay people to do it.

That is the cost per month . Every single month you pay the full cost of the hardware you use. The real killer on S3 is bandwidth anyway. Getting your data out of S3 costs much more than leaving it there, which I'm sure is by design.

I think the threat model is a three letter agency demanding a list of customers from Mullvad. Mullvad does their best to make sure no such list exists, but by having credit card info they are forced to know your identity.

The issue is that it's ridiculously expensive. You have to pay an inflated price for an existing, perfectly fine home. Then you have to pay to have it demolished. Then you have to pay to build a brand new home. It's going to cost
