I don't understand why people do this. If I'm in my small local town centre and want to grab a burger, the (slightly better) national chain is simply best burger on offer.

Indeed, in Europe... In some parts of Europe. In other parts it is very much frowned upon. Then there is the generational shift, even in countries where it used to be the norm to drink at lunch, people under 30-40 just aren't drinkin

I'd argue that "As slow as possible" is a note to the performer, not an absolute statement. Play it as slow as _you_ feel you possibly can. For some performers that's an hour, for some it's 8, for some it's 24

Here's a 90 second edit of a 24 hour performance where they have just included the chord changes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vv_bXRMTJog Fair warning, it sounds very jarring and disjointed.

Are you talking about the composition or this particular performance of that composition. This performance may be too slow for any human to actually observe, but the composition is just a piece of sheet music you can read and judge like any

To be fair, I went IBM -> Apple -> Lenovo, so it is conceivable that the track point is actually as good as it ever was, and I just got spoiled by how good the Apple trackpads are.

As someone who once loved the track point on my old IBM ThinkPad, I've found that for some reason every track point not made by IBM sucks. Even the modern Lenovo ones are terrible, and I have no idea why.

The 'fun' things with shorts is that they have a fixed upside and infinite downside (ie if you go short $1000, the most you can earn is $1000, but you could lose any amount of money and much more than you invested. This is the opp

I would take an aggressive short position. Lots of very smart people have lost a lot of money by being completely right about the destination, but wrong about the path and how long it will take to get there.

The only thing to be aware of with this approach is that you don't get an isolate venv for each notebook. So if you're working on one notebook that needs my_lib 1.X and one that needs my_lib 2.X you'll need to manually create
