I've noticed the same. I'm convinced that the generation that is under 16 today will on average know a lot less about computers compared to 20 years ago.

EU != Europe. EU has a population of just under 450 million. To get even close to an 800 million number you have to include all of both Russian and all the former Soviet states, which in this scenario would be rather misleading, given the g

It only explains what is different between sudo and runas. It doesn't really explain why they couldn't just improve runas and add those missing features instead of creating a new command. As it stands now you seem to need both sud

I guess it really must depend a lot on where you are then, because in my experience of my corner of Europe, lots of companies have had significant layoffs, jobs hunting is getting harder and raises have not at all kept of with inflation.

Anything which makes your prod and local environment differ is a bad thing in my opinion Unless you're writing code that only you will deploy to machines that you control, "prod" and "local" will always be differe

It's not really on poetry. While this is on the one hand at least partially true, it is also the case that as long a poetry can't deal with these (and similar) cases then it cannot really be said to be a candidate for the '

The fact that it only kind of sort of incidentally works some times shows clearly that people who consider PyTorch a vital library for their work aren't the target audience for poetry. Another use case they don't really care about

The tools and libraries for both GIS and Civil Engineering are also much much more developed in Python compared to Ruby. As are the tools for most areas of mathematics, and probably most other scientific and engineering fields.

Fair enough. When/where I was growing up up D&D meant one of the coloured boxes (white if you where very old, but red/blue mostly). AD&D was always called AD&D. Never heard anyone say "0e".

Are you sure you're not confusing D&D with AD&D? Pretty sure, the original D&D didn't have the player guide/dm guide split. There are also at least two version of the core first edition AD&D books, with the fi
