It's just about making a choice of which spy agency is going to get your data. NSA for western companies, KGB-or-whatever for Russian ones. If you live in the West, it may be worth considering both options.

It's nice that you like C#, but I don't see how that's related to the parent comment. You certainly cannot argue that C# does a better job at all mentioned tasks than the languages the parent listed.

After reading this I threw up a bit in my mouth. This feels like it was written by a marketing person.

Author, please stop responding to every negative comment. That looks pretty pathetic, especially when you just expose your lack of expertise this way.

I don't see how is that relevant. Why should we care about his brother having an identity crisis? It's sad, but even the brother complains about being overshadowed by his dead brother, not about his brother being made into icon.

What's the point of bringing this rag here? I don't see anything new in the article and there is not even a pretense of unbiased opinion there. It's like reading Pravda

I do not agree with your interpretation of the Facebook naming policy - in my opinion people of non-majority cultures experience problems simply due to limited resources and maybe negligence, not evil intent or societal demand to "fit

Nothing wrong at all if it was really working that way, i.e. that someone would really get a cheaper price than a normal package. The article does make a point that it's not really what is happening, instead the companies are squeezing
