Is there something that DataGrip does that PyCharm doesn't? As best as I've been able to tell, every feature that DataGrip has, PyCharm also has.

I'm not sure I agree with most of this article, but, it seemed interesting and I was wondering what other people thought - especially for an interesting library like Aurelia that doesn't get nearly as much discussion as some other

Even without a crash, one of the transactions will be completed before the other ones. If the coordinator crashes, one (or all) of the transactions will be stuck until the coordinator comes back - or, if it never does - until someone manual

Why? Couldn't you just take the whole payment via bank transfer and then go buy Bitcoin afterwards if you wanted to? This sounds like extra steps that I don't understand the point of.

Missing from the article is a warning about how hard it actually is to make RSA secure. There are a _ton_ of footguns that are easy to miss which can result in a totally broken implementation. So, nifty article and all - but there really sh

What if you accidentally format the drive on the host with the ZFS snapshots? Won't that result in synchronizing the deletion of those files to all your other devices?

If you accidentally reformat the ZFS drive, that will delete all your files and snapshots and then Syncthing will replicate those deletions. I'm really not super familiar with Syncthing, but it sounds like it's niche is availabili

This isn't a conspiracy - the problem with HTTP/1.1 pipelining is that responses have to go out in the same order as the requests that generated them. So, if a slow request comes in that generates a small amount of data, followed

Which servers / sites support HTTP/1.1 pipelining? This seems somewhat hard to lookup. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_pipelining : says that proxies and web browsers mostly don't support it. It claims

The title seem very much anti-HTTP/2. However, unless I missed something huge, the vast majority, if not all, of the issues found relate to how hard it is to handle HTTP/1. And it seems kinda odd to blame HTTP/2 for HTTP/

HTTP/1.1 pipelining is fundamentally flawed and largely unused. There isn't some conspiracy not to use it - many, many projects evaluated it and pretty much all came to that same conclusion.

A Sha256 hash is just a dump of the internal state of the function. If you know the hash, you can keep running the hash function for more data and calculate a new hash for the original data with new data appended.

You're arguing that the labor market is distorted by unemployment benefits - that may very well be true. But that doesn't mean there is a "shortage" of people able to do that job.

And there is a legitimate discussion to be had about the impact of enhanced unemployment benefits on the labor market - especially since those benefits are temporary. When they run out, it could leave employers that hired people at the wage

That's not the same thing. The reason that you couldn't buy toilet paper was because there was literally none of it on the shelf. That is a shortage. You could show up with $1,000 and you still can't make toilet paper show up

Ya. Just because the company would like for people to come back, doesn't mean they have the right to expect them to. The same way that the company chooses to stop paying people, people choose that maybe they'd like to do something

Yeah, there is no DNS mechanism. Although, IIRC, it is possible to place an entire TLD on the preload list - which still doesn't use DNS, but its a mechanism to enable HSTS where the website itself doesn't do anything.

I don't care how many months of 2% (or 10%) interest I get if it's followed by a 100% loss. You're getting that high interest rate because you're taking on a great deal of risk. 8 months of a bull market hardly proves ot
