Perhaps you're right, but when your £500 phone with brand new USB-C port doesn't support the so-called "killer app" you bought it for, its a bit of a pain. Luckily mine was refurbished and a few versions behind the curr

Couldn't agree more. Will that HDMI dongle work with your device? Is it a Power Delivery port or just half an amp? Who the heck knows when the manufacturer themselves give conflicting information!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it the trademark holder that gets to decide if their trademark is being violated, not the border force?

I find camera bumps annoying on principal. Those extra two millimetres could have been used to fit a bigger battery, but no, it has to be as thin as possible. Then again, Apple phones tend to be really heavy, so maybe its for the best? Bu

Given the "nice try module" is 3D printed, I'm sure someone could just order a job lot from JLC PCB or PCB Way and make them at home to sell.

Speak for yourself. The pro mouse and mighty mouse fit my (possibly oddly shaped) hands perfectly, and I don't need to curl my little finger under the body of the mouse to grip it, unlike most allegedly ergonomic mice I've used.

What the actual eff? A rogue employee at a "licenced" repair shop could also do this! This has got to be against even the most Neanderthal of advertising standards!

You wouldn't have to deal with a "police tax" if you didn't do things that made you get stopped. Admittedly that's easier said than done in america where the police are told how to use a gun and let lose on the pub

There's literally a monopoly "go" tile on it. Contrast this with the UK where the coppers like to get "go to jail" t shirts.

Its a pretty broad claim because a lot of countries have a different idea to america on what modern policing means.

Ideally the secrets would be encrypted to prevent outside snooping (and my authenticator app does this at my end) but it would seem that at some point the secret does need to be in plain text at some point.

I recall back in the XPI extension days it was possible to host your extension on your own website and have Firefox offer to automagically install it as if it were from the normal add-on site. I believe Chrome also did this for a short whi

If you're pointing out the slippery slope logical fallacy, allow me to say "argumentum ad populum" in rebuttal. Just because many or a majority of people have taken one opinion doesn't make it true or good, and just bec

Furthermore, "user" doesn't imply addiction. I hung a picture the other day, I used a screwdriver to do it. I'm not addicted to screwdrivers or hanging pictures, I'm just a user of a tool.
