You can learn a lot of things on YouTube, but the problem is that there is very little sequential content, so you already need to know what to look for, which can be tricky when you’re starting out. I much prefer online courses for that rea

This is the #1 reason why I haven’t upgraded my 2080 Ti. Using my laser printer while my computer is on (even if it’s idle) already makes my UPS freak out. But NVIDIA is claiming that the 5070 is equivalent to the 4090, so maybe they’re exp

I have a Tesla Model 3 and it’s the best car I’ve ever owned, but I won’t be getting another when my lease is up, solely because I don’t want to give any more money to Elon. My next car might be a Lucid, but I’ll see what the market is like

I use GitHub Copilot and it’s mostly replaced Stack Overflow for me. Normally if I run into a problem I’d do a web search and try to find an answer, but I’ve found that Copilot gets me to a good answer much faster the majority of the time.

I am suspicious of anything that claims you can achieve memory safety by pressing a button, with zero code changes required. Part of the reason Rust is frustrating to learn is because it forces you to structure your application a certain wa

I’ve been driving EVs for six years now and I do not have the ability to charge at home or work. It’s been a non-issue. I charge late at night and it’s about $0.18/kWh which is still way less than gas. Obviously it’s more convenient if
