Agree about the UX. It'd be great if they could allow you to expand storage but also abstract away the separation between SD card / internal storage.

Neat, maybe I can convince my wife to use it. I haven't even touched my iPod since I started using Play Music (on Android) - although my biggest beef is that you can't store your offline music on an SD card.

It doesn't format my AMEX card correctly (uses the 4 separate 4 digit pieces).

It'd be really neat to able to swap in zoom lenses when you might need them.

Very cool! I can't believe how cheap that is. And being able to store it in a trailer is a big deal. Also - you have a solid, usable website, but I think it could use a little visual improvement. If y'all are ever considering a re

Not just that, but rating one's skills doesn't really show anything useful. How many years have you worked with each technology? What have you built with each one? What makes you a 'master'? Sidenote - I'm curious h

I'm excited that this is happening, but I do wish they would have shown more than just concept art and the vague intro to the video. I can't tell from the Kickstarter page whether they've put significant effort into this yet

If you add to your analogy that you have no knowledge of the existing codebase, and you have no idea what you're adding or modifying, then you understand my difficulty grasping the concept. Thanks for the reply though!

Thanks, that's an interesting way of illustrating it.

No matter how it's explained, I still can't wrap my brain around how evolution produces complex systems. How do systems with interdependent processes and parts get produced by a process that seems to proceed stepwise?

Not to mention - if the problem you're trying to address is the admin area / interface, and not the codebase, then a plugin is all you need.

At first glance I thought it was a passive aggressive comment on the shutdown.

There is a relevant piece over at Techcrunch this morning; it argues that it was Borders/B&N that hurt indie bookstores, not Amazon: "Indie Bookstores Aren’t Dead Yet" http://techcrunch.com/2013/09&#x

I believe the problem with iOS (unless my info is outdated) is that it doesn't listen to the scroll event until it's completed. so sticky stuff won't move until the user has finished scrolling and lifted their finger from the

As long as it comes with increased battery life (as it should). I won't buy a new laptop until I can get one with real all-day battery life - and right now the main two options for that are the new Macbook Airs and the Sony Vaio Pro 13

Not that it will help you now, but WooCommerce is by far the best free WordPress e-commerce plugin I've used. They charge for extensions, but it's also very easy to extend. I created a custom payment option in just a few hours.

Yeah, I picked one up from Bed Bath and Beyond and it's helped a lot. First day (without it) was brutal. edit: funny, I also hacked mine together with Ikea parts. Looks pretty good too.

I'm using an external mouse and keyboard with my laptop at the same level as my 2nd monitor. It works pretty well.

I'm a few days in, and my feet are pretty sore. I've been trying to get into it slowly, with sitting breaks. What has surprised me the most is that I don't feel more drained at the end of the day - if anything, I have more en
