I'm thinking the person you replied to knows a thing or two about "Awesome" on the web. I'm not sure he was old enough to have done much on or off the web in 1993.

This is similar to my experience when Glancely was on TC. The TC traffic was great, but the Lifehacker/Gizmodo traffic that came later were actually bigger. Beyond that, there's some credibility in saying your startup was on TechCrunch, L

I used to journal for years and stopped. Then I messed with OhLife (a YC startup) and kept going with it. I'm not connected with them other than being a user, but if you're online anyway, it's a pretty handy tool to keep a journal. http:/

This wasn't a "cover up," but evidence that a culture that supported it existed: My boss on a prior job sent out a survey to get feedback on how he was doing. For some reason, logic escaped me and I provided honest feedback. So did the res

I find that I use my "favorites" on my browser a lot, then change computers and don't have the links I stored. Google and Bing are very good at what they do, but there are certain articles/how-tos and such that I find very useful to keep ar

http://mormon.org/people/ is interesting to check out. It's the LDS Church's attempt to have it's own "social" site, and add a human face to their faith.

That's odd with it being mid week. The traffic to LDS.org is the opposite of most sites - it actually peaks on Sunday with lulls during the week. There are two significant peaks during the year, one the first week in October, the other
